Overview

Description: Our curved foot hoppers are minimalistic monopod hoppers to explore energy efficiency, payload transportation and parallel elastic actuation. ETH Cargo is the worlds most energy efficent legged machine with a Total Cost of Transportation of 0.1 Joule/(kg*m) and a payload capacity up to 150kg. Chiaro is smaller (only 700g) and more powerful to explore the whole spectrum of parallel elastic actuation.
