We have reserved accommodation at several venues in Cambridge for the nights of Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 September 2013 for delegates to the Workshop
Sidney Sussex College, Sidney Street, Cambridge
Up to 40 single en-suite rooms are available at Sidney Sussex College at a reduced rate of £75 per night, including breakfast. Rooms may be booked through the Sidney Sussex College website

- Go to availability section and enter dates when accommodation is required
- Enter the unique promotional code KG2013 and click on ‘Show availability’
- Availability of rooms will be shown on next screen (If no rooms are shown please check that you have entered the promotional code)
- Enter number of rooms required
- Follow instructions on screen to pay for the room - a credit or debit card is required.
- Payment will be taken and confirmation emailed at the time of booking
These rooms are available on a first come first served basis until Thursday 22 August 2013. After that date rooms may still be available but the rate will revert to the usual rate of £80.40 per night.
Cambridge City Hotel, Pembroke Street, Cambridge (formerly Cambridge Crowne Plaza)
Up to 25 double rooms are available at the Cambridge City Hotel at a rate of £138 per night, including breakfast, for single occupancy or £148 per night, including breakfast, for double occupancy. Bookings may be made:

- Please note: these rooms are not available for booking via the internet
Guests will be asked for their credit card number to secure the reservation, no money will be taken from the card unless the guest cancels their booking after the cancellation date or does not arrive at the hotel. In these cases the full cost of the booking will be charged to the guest's credit card. Cancellation policy for all individual reservations is 28 days prior to arrival (ie Thursday 22 August 2013).
These rooms are available on a first come first served basis until Thursday 22 August 2013. After that date rooms may still be available but the rate is not guaranteed.
Should these options not be suitable, you may be able to find bed and breakfast accommodation through the
Conference Cambridge accommodation website or through the usual commercial room booking websites. The closest hotel to the Department of Engineering is the Royal Cambridge Hotel on Trumpington Street.
